Sidney Green, representing Allen High in Texas, ran a lifetime-best 59.05 seconds to win the women's 17-18 400-meter hurdles title at the USATF National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships at Hornet Stadium at Sacramento State. Green, entering her senior year, also placed 12th in the 200 meters in 24.93 and finished 20th in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.30.
